It all started a few years ago with a roll of Hessian and a few ideas to make natural, eco and biodegradable wedding related bits and pieces.
Hessian (also known as Jute or Burlap) is a rustic and hard-wearing fabric that was traditionally used for sacks and the transportation of coffee beans. The material is made entirely from the Jute plant and is mainly grown in India where the plant grows fully in just 4-6 months.
Our hessian runners are beautifully natural and bring texture and character to the table and they are completely biodegradable. We welcome bespoke orders – please send a message and we will get back to you.
We now work from our studio (The Shack) in Devon, on the edge of Dartmoor, and over the years we have added to our range of hessian products with natural kitchen and bathroom products, re-usable gift bags, beeswax wraps, and more….
